Why reality tv has become such a favorite pass time

Reality TV has become a popular form of entertainment. Now, people all over the world are turning on and tuning in to see the latest hype about their favorite "real" situation and those taking part in it. Whether their interests lie on a desert island or the big city and bright lights, it is easy to find something to satisfy your yearnings. The vast range of topics that reality TV has come to encompass has made it near to impossible to ignore, and that is, perhaps what makes this newer form of entertainment interesting to those who watch.

Over the past several years, it has become more important for those living in society to connect with those around them. Reality TV allows those who watch to do just that. No matter how indirect the connection, it's still present and very alive. Curiosity plays a big role in this, as often times, viewers will try to put themselves in a particular situation, and figure out how they might react. The difference is it's actually happening to someone and not made up; part of the enchantment is, it isn't happening to the viewers, which makes it more fun to watch from afar.

Reality TV has turned into somewhat of a real-life soap opera, complete with characters whose fates are often decided in different ways. In some cases, these fates are decided by viewers, which makes it that much more intriguing. The reason for this is that people tend to care about something more when they can take an active part in it.

Reality TV has also given regular viewers the opportunity to directly participate, while just being themselves in the process. There is, however, a certain amount of falseness that must be incorporated into acting out real situations, because of the nature of television itself, but, for the most part, it's all about real people facing real challenges.

This type of television is very unique for a couple of reasons. The shows are often relatively short in duration, and are usually broadcasted annually, so as not to saturate the airwaves and overstay its welcome. This also helps boost the ratings for each particular show, as the viewing public isn't getting too much at one time.

Reality TV has also presented a diverse side to the entertainment industry never seen before. It has become fun and interesting to follow each participant, because he or she is a person with a real conflict, and this really matters to viewers. Whether the show is based around legality issues as seen on court TV, a competition for the next best entertainer, or survival of the fittest, the steaks are always high. This is, perhaps, why reality TV has become so captivating, and why it is, undoubtedly, here to stay.

Know your restaurant s start up cost

The cost of opening your own restaurant business is one very important matter to be dealt with and often the hardest to determine because, to a great extent, it depends on the type of restaurant that you desire to open.

Your restaurant “start-up costs” are outlined as expenses incurred for the acquisition or creation of your restaurant business. “Start-up costs” are comprised as any incurred amounts or out-going capital in relation with your restaurant’s activity directed for income generation before your restaurant business starts.

“Start-up costs” generally include the following expenses:

• Potential markets surveys.

• Evaluation of available supplies, labor, facilities, etc.

• Advertisements.

• Business equipment and fixtures

• Equipment and fixture installation

• Decorating and remodeling

• Employee uniforms

• Salaries for employees undergoing training and their trainers.

• Costs of travel for acquiring prospective suppliers, distributors or customers.

• Fees and salaries for consultants and executives and other similar services.

Estimating your restaurant business’ “start up costs”:

It is a wise decision to study your “start-up costs” estimate with a qualified accountant. 1.Begin by recording then add up your entire restaurant’s equipment which you consider is necessary to begin and manage your restaurant. See the chapter on selecting equipment and furnishings for more help on this. 2.On your list, mark off certain items or equipment that aren't really necessary and can wait. Restaurant startup costs cannot be overlooked! Get $200,000 US Government Grants for new businesses. Claim your FREE $79 Gov Grant book! Determine what kind of equipment needs to be bought brand new, and what type can be purchased used.

Determine what things may be leased, for the moment.

2. When adding up the physical cost (building or office) of your restaurant, remember to also add in the remodeling costs, decorating costs, fixtures, installation and delivery fees for equipment and fixtures.

3. Include professional fees, utility deposits, permits and licenses.

4. When computing your advertising costs, make sure to add trademarks, logo expenses as well as other graphics to be used.

5. Come up with ways where you may be able to lower some expenses. Call vendors and suppliers and work out certain deals.

6. Estimate that all expenses will be much higher than expected. It is sensible to add about 1-5 percent to your estimate. Guaranteed US Government Grant for USA Citizens at http://www. trustedreviews. info/money/usm/index. html

7. Write your business plan before you come to your final estimate for “start up costs”. Generally, a business plan functions to reveal more “start-up costs” that weren't really thought of. Again, see the chapter on preparing your business plan.

8. Include your restaurant’s first 3-6 months operating investment in your “start-up costs”. These expenses will usually include employee salaries, advertising, rent, supplies, delivery expenses, utilities, taxes, insurance, maintenance, professional services, loan payments, inventory, etc.

How much activity is too much

Should your child go for the football practice 5 days a week? Are 3 daysenough? It is common for parents to be a little confused when it comes to deciding how much is too much with reference to after school activities. They argue that since most of the activities are fun (as different from studies), children will simply lap up these classes. But, too much of fun can also make a child sick. Here is a simple guide that will help you decide how much is too much for your child.

Kindergarten:

Your child is just beginning to learn to interact and get used to discipline. His or her after-school life should be simple and carefree. One or two classes per week are enough at the beginning. Once the child settles down, look for more challenging activities like a music program.

Grade 1:

One or two activities per week, play dates and playground visits are recommended. Avoid competitive sports activities. The child is still too young to have to worry about winning and losing. After the rigors of a full day at school, he or she needs a healthy outlet for pent up energy. Physical activities and noncompetitive sports are best for this age.

Grade 2:

Your child is old enough to voice opinions on what activities he or she wants. Sports, skating, swimming or computers - steer him towards things he likes. Many children begin lessons on a musical instrument around this

age. But, allow your child some 'alone time' during which he can unwind and just do whatever he wishes.

Grade 3:

Socialization begins to take center stage. Team sports are a good choice. Developing motor skills, painting, drawing etc are good too. Let the child explore areas of interests. But leave aside enough time for the family and for fun activities.

Grade 4:

At this age, the child will tell you what he likes. He needs to get involved in activities that will boost his confidence. This will also help him manage stress as this is the time when social pressure is beginning to build. But, beware of the homework demon. Your child needs more time with

his studies. Balancing his schoolwork with other activities is very important.

Grade 5:

The fifth grader is bubbling with energy and will want to do just about everything. But she or he may conveniently push studies to the background. So, close supervision is needed. Keep one or two days free for family time and other activities. Now is a great time to get your child

interested in community service.

Middle school:

Steer him away from TV. Get him engaged in activities that reinforce learning. Academic performance can be improved by encouraging your preteen to join clubs like the Girl/Boy Scouts program, language clubs, chess

clubs etc. As a thumb rule, 16-20 hours a week of extra activity should be more than enough. But look out for signs of burnout.

What you select for your child and how long he should work at it is basically decided by the child's temperament. As a parent, you should closely observe your child and base your decisions on feedback from the child himself.

How to find the right home painter

Whether you need to paint the interior or exterior of your home, it is imperative to find the right painter for the project. Having a good home painter will ensure you have a quality job that is affordable and completed in a timely manner. Make sure you choose a painter with experience and who can do a good job for you.

Get several quotes for your project before deciding on a painter. Make sure the quotes include details of what is included, price for the job and an estimated completion date. Find out what the payment options are and what constitutes final acceptance of the work. Make sure you have a warranty included for touchups if needed. It is advisable to pay the final portion of the job only when a thorough walk through is done and you have accepted the work. Make sure you obtain the contact information of each painter so you can ask follow up questions if needed.

Interview each potential candidate to determine if they have proper experience with your type of job. Ask for references and follow up on those to ensure they have a sound customer base of happy clients. Ask to see pictures of work examples so you can visualize the type of work they perform.

If you have an older home, you may have lead paint. This is potentially hazardous but an experienced home painter will know what to do and how to dispose of materials to minimize risk. A painter will know how to avoid hazards to keep the family safe while completing a quality job. A painter should already have all the supplies and tools specific to house painting.

After interviewing and collecting quotes, decide on the painter to hire. Choose the painter who has the best combination of skill and price. You will work closely with this person to communicate color choices and specifications, so be sure you pick someone you are comfortable talking with. A quality painter will make sure the job is finished properly.

Word of mouth is the best way to get a quality painter. People who are satisfied with the type of work a painter has done for them in the past will be eager to refer them for other jobs. Once you have your painting project complete and you are satisfied with the quality, keep the painter’s details handy in case you have another project or a friend needs a referral.

Thou shalt not

Thou Shalt Not

Romans 2:19-2:20 (NIV, NIRV, TNIV, KJV)

Thou Shalt Not. Have you ever read the Ten Commandments and paused at the words, “Thou Shalt Not?”I have read many an artical condemning Ministers for speaking out against, sin, unrighteousness, life styles contrary to the Commandments of God and Christ, and believe it or not, these condemnations are coming not from the unsaved but the Christian. So I thought about the scriptures and the words “Thou Shalt Not?” Words have become a weapon for many who don’t understand the ”Thou Shalt Not of scripture, such as, “Love one another, Judge not that ye shall not be judged, God loves everyone, Jesus loves all man so let the LIFESTYLES of those people be allright. I don’t understand why Preachers use specific passages in the Bible to make their point, Preachers are either Far Right or Far Left, We cant single out organizations because of what they believe and teach, people of alternate lifestyles can be Christians too.” Words, Words, Words. Many are using the Word of God to justify the unrighteousness of others, so lets see some words from God. Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Matthew 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? Matthew 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,.........

Rom 2:19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

Rom 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

Rom 2:21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

Rom 2:22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

Rom 2:23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

Rom 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Rom 2:25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

Rom 2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

Rom 2:27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. “Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, “Thou shalt not.....”:

Mat 19:18 ....... Jesus said, Thou shalt do no....., Thou shalt not......, Thou shalt not......, Thou shalt not......, Lets look a little closer at some of Gods Words.

1. Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition. Have many Christians, as did the Pharisies, become wrapped up in Traditions. Not looking into scripture any further that the Crucification and Resurrection of Christ. Have they stopped at Salvation and Baptism and neglected the Weightier matters of The Gospel of Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ does not stop at John. The Gospel of Jesus starts at Genesis and ends with Revelations. 2.which ye have delivered. Many Christians are making the Mistake of allowing others, whom are lost, to live alternate lifestyles and alternate religions, without speaking out against the unrighteousness and sinfulness of their choices, not trying to warn them of the consequences of their actions. Mankind has the right to make His own choice, weather to believe or not to believe in Gods word, but Jesus commanded us to warn them, not to keep silent or fight for them to remain lost. Thats right, I said, Fight for them to remain Lost. When Christians dictate to the Ministers of God, what to preach and what not to Preach, we become Transgressers of the Law of God.

3.transgress the commandment of God What are the Commandments of God, are they guidelines for Christians to live by or are they points that can be changed or debated among ourselves? We Cannot follow after the Traditions of Man, we are only subject to the Laws of Man that are Lawful to us, that do not deter us from worshiping God. Lets read a little from Isaiah. Isaiah 1:16-21 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. ”Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD.” God is asking the Same thing today, in this time of Debate, Uproar, Division and Indecision. Our Lord wants all to come to Him, sit down with His Words and Reason with Him on what His commandments and Laws are for Salvation and Propagation of The Gospel. Reason with Him on what we as Christians are supposed to be doing, and especially on what we are not to be doing, that the Gospel be not Blamed.

4.tempting him, Satan tempeted Jesus time and time again, His temptation of Christ did not stop at the discussions in the wilderness, as some are led to believe, but thru the entire Life of Jesus up to and including His Crusifiction. We as Christians are tempted each and every day to fight for equal rights for lifestyles that are against the Commandments of God, that we are bound to uphold. We cannot express views to the world that are contrary to the Word of God, that we hold sacred. By doing so we become a partaker of their sin and there - by become transgressers of the Law. Reference Matthew 4:1 -11., Luke 4:1-13. Look at the words in Luke 4:13, ....”for a season” Phi 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 5.An instructor of the foolish, Going against the will of God for His Children make us a teacher of the foolish and a teacher of false doctrine. 6.form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Many that are trying to use the words, “Judge not and Love one another, to justify unrighteousness, have a form of knowledge and only a small grasp of the truth in Gods word.

7. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

8. Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? 9.thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

10. breaking the law dishonourest thou God? Are those that speak out for the civil rights of others to live an un-godly life actually dishonoring God? Let me ask a question to everyone here that disagree with me this day, What would have happened to the City of Nineveh, and its people, if Jonah had stood up for the rights of the people to live un-godly? Was not the Commandment of God to Jonah to Cry against it?

Jonah 1:2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. Jonah 3:3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey.

Jonah 3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. Jonah 3:9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

Jonah 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. Is not our commandment from God today, to “cry against it; “ Shout loud against, evil, unrighteousness, traditions of man, Cry against the spirit of anti-christ, shout atop the house tops that the wrath of God will be against all that reject Jesus as His Son, that the wrath of God will be against all that reject the lifestyle that God ordained, that the wrath of God will be against all that refuse to believe His Word. What would have happened to Nineva if Jonah didn’t shout a warning to repent of their lifestyle? God would have destroyed it from the top to the bottom with fire and total destruction. And what of Jonah, The blood of all, men, women and Children, would have been on His hands. We today, as with Jonah, are not judging people but we as with him are crying against their evil. If crying out the warning, if putting a light on the spirit of anti-christ, if standing up against ungodliness, makes me a judge, then I am Guilty, if you also do these things then consider yourself also guilty. Then if you consider us guilty, consider Jesus and God , Himself, guilty for standing up and being herd, for proclaiming that no unrighteousness, no sin, nothing that speaks a lie, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. So in conclusion, the next time you read the words,”Thou Shalt Not” remember what you have heard here today, don’t waver from the truth but stand up and declair, That God is God and Jesus is The Son of God and Thou shalt not means exactly what it says. ars. This is a Letter responce I had written to a regional newspaper. Why was, Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim, Lasha, The Roman Empire, Hitler, just to name a few, Destroyed By God? Was it because He just didnt like them or was it because, their sin and unrightiousness became intollerable in Gods sight? John said; For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Lifestyle, sexual preference and "Judge not that you be not judged" have become words used by many as excuses to ignore the truth. If stateing the truth is judgment then I am guilty. If all I can do in this life is to warn people of the spirit of antichrist then my life is worth giveing. Which would be a greater sin, ignoreing the spirit of antichrist or speaking out against it? Does Jesus hate? Yes. Look at Revelations 2:1 thru 3:22. When Israel was obedient to God they flurished, when they were disobedient they were punished. Far right far left are just words, which was God? Are we to judge God on His Rightiousness on His Laws or are we to warn people of His Wrath? Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20,21

7 ways to make money using nothing more than your list

7 Ways To Make Money Using Nothing More Than Your List

An opt-in list can be quite crucial to any site or internet based company. Even for a small venture such as a niche profit site an opt-in list can make a world of difference and also add some extra income for your pocket. Rarely would you see an e-commerce site, big or small, that is without an opt-in list.

An opt-in list allows for a company to market their wares and site via an e-mail. With an opt-in list, a site and a subscriber consents to sending and receiving a newsletter from your company. Through this, you can keep your subscribers abreast of what is currently available in your site as well as whatever is coming out.

And because there is mutual consent between the two parties, any mail sent to the list is not considered as spam mail. There is a great number of successfully read promotional materials such as catalogs, newsletters and such that are sent because the subscribers themselves have signed up for them, meaning, they do want to be sent those items.

Building a list is crucial, only a small percentage actually subscribes for an opt-in list. Many people find promotional mails annoying but of you provide a good newsletter or promotional material, you will see your list build up and grow. You can also achieve this by having good content on your site. If people like what they see and read on your site, then they surely would want more. Newsletters would be a way to attract them back to your site. A little teaser or appetizer if you will.

But other than marketing your wares and your services, an opt-in list can also be used to earn extra profit. Not all lists can be used though. It would be good to first build a successful list with a huge number of subscribers. The more subscribers you have, the more money you can get. Here are seven ways to make money using nothing more than your list.

1) Place advertisements. There are many corporations who will be willing to pay to put their banners and ads on a list with many subscribers. Selling or renting out lists is not a good idea so rather than doing that, many companies would just rather place ads with lists that have a huge subscriber base. Your newsletter could be placed with many ads and each one spells money.

2) Have affiliations with other companies that have at least a semblance or relation to what your site is about. Here other companies will provide links and brief descriptions of what they offer, products and services. With every click made on the link that directs or leads a subscriber from your list to their site, the company will pay you. This P4P or pay for performance.

3) Make deals with other companies by asking for a small percentage of sales done through your list. With every sale done by customers that have come from your list and have gone there because of your newsletter, the other company will pay you a small percentage of your sales. The more people who buys from them, the more earnings you get.

4) You may also get products from other sites on a consignment basis and sell them to your list via your newsletter. Place descriptions, articles and photos of the product in your newsletter. There will be those who will buy from you and when that happens, you can order the product from the other site and sell it to your buyer.

5) Sell e-books or a compilation of your articles on your list. Manuals and how-to articles are in great demand. Many people will be willing to shell out money to gain knowledge about a certain topic and subject. With your existing list trusting your expertise in that area, an e-book could be offered and sold or used as an incentive.

6) Create a network out of your list. Get people to invite more people to view your site and subscribe to your list. The larger your list is, the more people will be able to click on your links and affiliate links as well as make your advertisement rates higher.

7) Subscribers are willing to pay for information if they know that it can be trusted and relied upon. Use your list to get more and more people to subscribe to you as well as browse your site. Lastly, you can use your list to earn money by making them your partners. Your list will be the bloodline of your growth and increase.
